When Lehi heard the words of the prophets he followed his desire to understand and prayed to the Lord for the answers he sought. He prayed with an earnest desire and he prayed with all of his heart to know. He prayed for more than just himself, he prayed for his people, his family, his friends, and the whole of Jerusalem to know the truth of what was to come.
by praying with faith the truth can and will be revealed to those ready to receive the words of the Lord. Prayer is the first step to gaining spiritual enlightenment. Prayer is the first step in all things and actions for a purpose that God has set.
